Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Master's Degree in Nursing Sciences and candidate for a Doctorate in Education from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.
She has done research stays at the University of Quindío, Colombia and the University of Alicante, Spain. She is currently a full time Professor-Researcher and coordinator of the Neonatal Nursing Specialty at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. She has directed undergraduate and graduate theses in public and private universities. She collaborated as a statistical advisor for undergraduate research at the University of Quindío, Colombia.
She has developed research projects on Emotional Intelligence in Nurses and educational interventions in caregivers to prevent pressure injuries. She currently collaborates with national and international research networks in projects focused on indigenous women, traditional medicine and alternative therapies, construction and validation of various instruments and interventions to measure effects on women with obesity through dance. She has designed the Master's Educational Program in Nursing Services Administration in the state of Puebla and has directed the redesign and updating of undergraduate educational programs. She has received diplomas on evaluation of educational programs. She has participated as a speaker in national and international congresses and has published scientific articles in national and international indexed journals.
