D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, during his undergraduate and postgraduate studies he spent time at the Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biológicas del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición "Salvador Zubirán", the Instituto Nacional de Pediatría, the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica and the Instituto Nacional de Cardiología "Ignacio Chávez". He has published fourteen original and review articles in JCR journals with high Impact Factor, two book chapters, seven popular science articles, lecturer in eight occasions in National Universities and for the "Siglo XXI" Medical Center, participant in more than thirty national and international congresses, he has seven distinctions and awards in research as a student and tutor. He is currently a member of the basic nucleus of the neonatology specialty, member of the complementary nucleus of the master's degree in biomedical and health sciences and of the basic nucleus of the doctorate in food and health sciences. She is a member of the ethics committee of the UAEH biotherium (CICUAL) and a member of the national system of researchers level I. She enjoys graphic art, music and Hispanic-American readings.
