Bachelor's Degree in Gastronomy

Upon graduation from the Bachelor's Degree in Gastronomy at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo:

• You will be able to recognize the elements that make up the national and international culinary heritage, valuing its social and cultural environment. This is based on UNESCO designations.
• You will offer all types of gastronomic services demanded by the market, always characterizing the elements that influence the gastronomic industry, following national and international quality standards and certifications.
• You will determine the appropriate management and leadership strategies for food and beverage companies, promoting the economic and social development of the entity, region and country, based on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
• You will have the ability to identify the chemical, nutritional and organoleptic characteristics of food, to meet specific needs through models.
• You will acquire multidisciplinary theoretical and practical skills for the application of tools and skills in the above areas.
