DISCIPLINARY BACKGROUND


Why study the Doctorate in Economic and Administrative Sciences?


The contents of the DCEA are designed in accordance with the new trends in education and at the forefront of its disciplinary contents, which will allow the formation of highly specialized doctors to face the challenges that the area demands.


To train high quality doctors in the economic and administrative sciences capable of generating development alternatives to contribute to the solution of problems related to the productive sectors, organizations and institutions with professional ethics and social responsibility and, at the same time, to strengthen the generation of research with a complex, systemic and interdisciplinary perspective to face current and future challenges.
In 2021 to be a Doctorate in Economic and Administrative Sciences with national and international recognition for the consolidated core of professors and the formation of highly qualified human resources, capable of contributing to the solution of administrative and economic problems in the productive sectors, organizations and institutions, in addition to the generation of knowledge reflected in high impact journals and prestigious publishers.

The objective of the DCEA is to train researchers with a broad and solid background in economic and administrative sciences through the development of critical, analytical, synthesis and creativity skills to carry out original research and propose solutions to problems in the productive sectors, organizations and institutions.

  1. Management, strategies and integral and innovative development of organizations:
    Objective: To generate and apply knowledge, with a holistic vision, in the productive sectors, organizations and institutions, that allows fostering competencies for the design and implementation of strategies that contribute to their integral development with social responsibility at the national and international level.

  2. Analysis of productive sectors and institutions in the national and international context:
    Objective: To generate and apply knowledge, strategies and innovative models in the economic-administrative area from a systemic, complex, multi and interdisciplinary perspective that allows to analyze theoretically and methodologically the problems that occur in the different productive sectors, organizations and institutions in the national and international context.
