To provide high school, middle and higher professional education; to conduct research; to create and disseminate culture, sports, science and technology; to link the substantive functions within and with the social and productive environment, through accredited educational programs associated with research projects that promote regional, national and international development; where comprehensive training, entrepreneurship and student commitment to society are the priority.
Vision
The Institute of Economic and Administrative Sciences is recognized nationally and internationally for:
1. Its people-centered educational model, which achieves social acceptance of its graduates with universal values and ideals, entrepreneurial, creative and critical skills and attitudes, and respect for the environment and cultural diversity, allowing them to be competitive when trained in educational programs linked between levels, accredited, with a solid academic support and collegial teaching work.
2. The scientific production of its academic bodies, recognized by the international scientific society, that work in research networks, cultivate lines of generation, application and innovation of knowledge, with quality standards, that contribute to the solution of problems of the disciplines and of social and economic development, that incorporate students to tasks of analysis and solution of theoretical and practical problems; with graduate programs registered in the National and International Register of CONACYT.
3. Preserve, extend and disseminate the advances and products generated by the University to the scientific-technological, humanistic and artistic culture, in order to achieve the integral formation of students and their contribution to society.
4. The linkage with the productive, social and service sectors, through continuing education, social service and professional practices considered in the study programs, national and international mobility of its students and professors, strategic alliances with national and international organizations, cooperation and transfer of research results and academic products with the environment. that allows it to integrate innovative elements in the teaching-learning process of the economic and administrative sciences.
5. Its academic-administrative management, based on organizational learning and innovation; with strategic processes of governance, management, education, training and control, oriented to results, user satisfaction and certification; supported by new information and communication technologies; based on a systemic approach, and on principles of legality, transparency and accountability, which ensure the efficient allocation of resources and contribute to the consolidation of the institute.
6. Maintain constant planning and evaluation processes, in a collegial manner, under a congruent and pertinent regulatory framework.
