PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
Engineering Chemical Engineering, ITP (1991).automatic graduation by average.
Master's degree in Chemistry with specialty in Electrochemistry, UAM-Iztapalapa (1998). "Preliminary study to establish the operating conditions of a three-dimensional reactor to recover gold and silver from cyanide leaching solutions".
Ph.D. in Sciences (Chemistry) with option in Electrochemical Engineering, UAM-Iztapalapa (2002). Thesis: "Selective Recovery of "DORÉ" (Au-Ag) from Mineral Leaching Solutions, Using an Electrochemical Reactor FM01-LC".

SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTIVITY
41 articles published in JCR journals, 26 articles in refereed journals, 15 book chapters, 266 papers presented in national and international congresses, delivery of 53 dissemination conferences and the publication of 133 articles in congress proceedings related to electrochemistry and materials. He has participated in the organization of 1 national congress, 1 international congress and 2 academic events.

THESIS DIRECTION
He has supervised 12 bachelor's theses; 4 Master's theses and 10 doctoral theses and currently has 3 doctoral theses in process.

RESEARCH PROJECTS
Responsible for 27 research projects among which stand out:

  • Pilot scale-up of the electrolytic metallic manganese production process. C003V-2014-01PEI-CONACYT.
  • Innovation in Electrochemical Processes for Treatment, Production and Recovery of Metals. CONACyT Chair Project No. 1227.
  • Innovation and technology transfer of the electrochemical bleaching process of kaolinitic clays.
  • Study of the evaluation of modified electrodes for hydrogen production.
  • Bioelectrodes for the treatment of acid whey.
  • Electrochemical coatings on 316 Stainless Steel for study on the International Space Station.
