Dr. Ventura Rodríguez Lugo was born in Mexico City on December 1, 1965. Ventura Rodríguez Lugo, born in Mexico City on December 1, 1965, graduated as Physicist from the Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM, 1992; D. from the Faculty of Engineering of the Autonomous University of Queretaro in 2001. Since 1991 he has been a professor at different institutions, among them the Autonomous University of Mexico (Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Chemistry), Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Universidad Iberoamericana, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, where he is currently Full Research Professor C, Researcher of the Academic Area of Earth and Materials Sciences of the Institute of Basic Sciences and Engineering; He was admitted as a candidate of the National System of Researchers in 1999 and is currently level II.

Dr. Rodriguez is a researcher who conducts frontier research projects and has a very extensive and varied academic productivity that includes research, dissemination and innovation.

Regarding teaching activities, Dr. Rodriguez has directed 94 undergraduate theses, 11 master's theses, 5 doctoral theses and is currently directing 16 theses: 6 doctoral, 3 master's and 6 bachelor's theses.

Dr. Rodriguez's work and contributions have allowed him to generate the following scientific production: he has participated in 32 research projects within ININ and BUAP, and UAEH, mainly related to the synthesis and characterization of materials by different techniques, being responsible for several of them. 71 articles published in JCR, International and indexed journals, 16 articles in indexed journals, 13 articles in national journals 1016 citations, 36 full-length papers, 25 chapters in books, 7 edited books, 2 published books, 840 papers presented in different national and international forums, 25 scientific technical reports and more than 50 technical reports to the industry; 75 lectures given in research, dissemination and liaison, former member of the Researchers' Register of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. Participation in more than 190 projects with the productive sector, obtaining the National Award of Linkage in the modality University Company 2007 and the State Award of linkage the State of Puebla 2008, Vice President and President of the Mexican Academy of Materials Science 2001-2002 and 2002-2004 respectively, Vocal Physics Industry of the Mexican Society of Physics 2002-2003 Secretary in the Mexican Society of Microscopy 2008-2009, Outstanding Member of the "Working Group of Area III - Advanced Materials" in the Scientific and Technological Consultative Forum, advisor to the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of the LXIV Legislature of the Chamber of Deputies, during 2017 he formed the academic body of Advanced Materials, and in the same year he consolidated it, being currently the leader of this academic body.

Dr. Rodriguez has been a promoter of the linkage with the productive sector developing various innovation projects and in which he has developed solutions for each identified problem.
