He is a Mining Metallurgical Engineer graduated from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, Mexico, in June 2001.
Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering with honors, graduated from the School of Chemical Engineering and Extractive Industries (ESIQIE) of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico, in August 2005.
D. in Metallurgy and Materials Sciences with honors, graduated from the School of Chemical Engineering and Extractive Industries (ESIQIE) of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico, in December 2012.
Postdoctoral stay at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) 2015-2017 developing studies of synthesis, characterization and thermochemical analysis of BaTiO3 based electroceramics doped with rare earths.
He currently serves as a full time tenured research professor A in the Academic Area of Earth and Materials Sciences (AACTyM), at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH), Mexico, institution where he works since 2004. He is a member of the National System of Researchers with Level I recognition since 2012, additionally he is accredited as a full time professor Prodep with Desirable Profile Level I by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Mexico. He has been Assistant Coordinator of the Doctorate in Materials Sciences educational program at UAEH, has participated as organizer of the annual Research Meeting of the Academic Area of Earth and Materials Sciences (AACTyM), of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH). He has participated in the national evaluation of Prodep applications for Desirable Profile, as well as in the Evaluation of Graduate Educational Programs for renewal in the National Program of Quality Graduate Programs (PNPC), Mexico.
The disciplines in which he conducts research are: Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Materials Engineering and Thermodynamics. He is currently developing projects of Synthesis, structural, electrical and magnetic characterization and thermodynamic simulation of BaTiO3 based electroceramics doped with rare earths. As a result of the development of his scientific activities, he has a total productivity as author and co-author of 34 scientific articles in his area of expertise, all of them included in the JCR, 33 book chapters indexed in SCOPUS, in addition to an extensive participation in national and international conferences. He has participated in the formation of Human Capital in the direction and co-direction of theses of a total of 15 students of Bachelor, Master and PhD, and in teaching, he has taught a total of 59 courses in the specialty in Bachelor, Master and PhD programs of the Academic Area of Earth Sciences and Materials (AACTyM), of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH), Mexico.
