Semblanza

He holds a Master's degree in Information and Knowledge Societies with a focus on Economics and Technological Development from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Spain, UOC. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Systems with a specialization in networks and telecommunications from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, UAEH.

He has worked professionally for more than 21 years in the ICT area. In the Directorate of Telecommunications of the UAEH as responsible for technical support and monitoring of the voice, data and video network in a central node of the network, participated in the deployment project of the Metropolitan Fiber Optic Network and the state microwave network, WiMax; has been director of Systems of the Hidalgo Foundation A.C.; Developer of special projects of knowledge management within the area of ICT for senior management in the UAEH. Responsible for managing and processing large volumes of information, as well as the design and implementation of information systems and databases. Independent IT consultant for national scale organizations such as INFONAVIT.

He teaches since 2004, at the Institute of Basic Sciences and Engineering with special emphasis on virtual reality projects. He has directed the Internet of Things laboratory serving as Lab Champion within the national network of innovation laboratories (ILNET) sponsored by the INTEL corporation. From there he has led several research, development and technological innovation projects, mainly in the field of Internet of Things. He has received professional updating in the CCNA curriculum and Fundamentals of Internet of Things by Networking Academy belonging to the Global CISCO company.

He was Operational Coordinator of Prospective within the Graduate School of the UAEH, Operational Coordinator of the Master's program in Internet of Things.

Currently he is Academic Coordinator of the Master's Program in Internet of Things at UAEH and Operational Coordinator and Project Advisor of CTLab (Creative Technology Lab). Responsible for organizing the CTTalks Specialized Talks. Administrator and instructor of the Local CISCO Networking Academy of the Graduate School.

He is interested in new disruptive technologies to apply them under a four helix innovation model (academy, government, business and society).

He enjoys drawing and family activities.
