Semblanza

He is a research professor and leader of the microsystems laboratory at the Institute of Basic Sciences and Engineering, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. He received his professional degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Orizaba Veracruz in 1991, he is Master and PhD in Science from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in Mexico City in 1994 and 2006 respectively. He was a professor at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional and at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. His research is related to the design and testing of analog and mixed VLSI circuits, sensors and MEMS. He participates in the project Development of an Electronic Language for the Simultaneous Quantification of Glucose, Cholesterol and Triglycerides.

He is a member of the Optical and Electronic Systems Research Group and has published articles in different indexed journals, has written book chapters, and has presented his research results in different national and international forums. He is also a reviewer of scientific journals such as Electrical Engineering, International Journal of Electronics Letters, International Journal of Electronics, Journal of Electrical Engineering, Journal of Materials Science and Engineering B of Elsevier, Materials Chemistry and Physics of Elsevier, Sensor Letters and CEE of the IEEE.
