She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Pachuca. D. in Chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. Among the most outstanding publications are "Recovery of Cd(II) and Zn(II) present in HCl media using cellulose acetate sponges modified with Cyanex 923" and "Evaluation of activated composite membranes for the facilitated transport of phenol". He collaborated in the book "Handbook of Microplastics in the Environment" with a chapter on the remediation of contaminated water using microplastics. His participations in conferences are related to the use of modified polymers for the removal and/or quantification of chemical species.
