He is an independent consultant in Internet of Things (IoT), data and artificial intelligence (AI). He carries out teaching and research activities in IoT and AI in the Division of Engineering in Information Technology and Communications (ITICs) of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior del Occidente del Estado de Hidalgo (ITSOEH) since 2017.
He received the degree of engineer in electronics and telecommunications from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH) in 2009, the degree of M. en C. in Microelectronics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in 2013 and the degree of Dr. in Information Science from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) in 2017.
Throughout his graduate studies he has received scholarships and distinctions from the Mexican government and the Japanese government. On the part of the Mexican government, he has received scholarships through the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) and the Council of Science, Technology and Innovation of Hidalgo (CITNOVA); from the former, for master's studies, and from both, for doctoral studies. On behalf of the Japanese government, he has been distinguished with awards for his academic performance, such as the "outstanding performance award for excellence and achievements in the doctoral program in information science" granted by the dean of JAIST and the scholarship for short research stay abroad granted by the Japanese government, with which he had the opportunity to conduct research in the design of integrated circuits at McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
Throughout his stay in Japan (2011-2017) he actively contributed to the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers or IEICE and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) where he presented and published his advances in the design and implementation of communication systems employing machine learning techniques. During his stay in Japan he also participated in the development of research projects in the areas of telecommunications and information storage.
