Dr. Cutberto Rodríguez Álvarez holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Pachuca, a Master of Science degree in Mathematics Education from the UAEH and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Universidad de Sonora.

He has held several positions such as research group leader, head of laboratories and Assistant Coordinator of undergraduate programs. He currently collaborates with the Master of Science in Mathematics and its Didactics, having been synodal in degree exams on several occasions.
