SUMMARY CURRICULUM VITAE

He holds a degree in Biology from the Universidad Veracruzana, a Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Centro de Investigación y Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, a PhD in Ecology and Natural Resource Management from the Instituto de Ecología A. C., and two years of postdoctoral studies at the Instituto de Biotecnología y Ecología Aplicada of the Universidad Veracruzana. D. in Ecology and Natural Resources Management from the Instituto de Ecología A.C. He spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Biotechnology and Applied Ecology of the Universidad Veracruzana. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience where he has taught more than 72 courses, including Immunology, Virology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Statistics, Multivariate Statistics, Certification in Environmental Management, Environmental Education, among others. He is a specialist in Genetics, Demography, Statistics, as well as Molecular Biology and Ecology. He has published 57 indexed articles, 14 refereed articles, 15 popular articles and 8 book chapters. He has supervised 9 bachelor's theses, 9 master's theses, 6 doctoral theses and two funded research projects. He is a member of the National System of Researchers with Level II and has a desirable PRODEP profile. He was Professor-Researcher C of the Doctorate in Biology at the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. He was coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Biology and the Master's Degree in Environmental Management, both programs of the UAEH. He is assigned as a Full-Time Research Professor B and collaborates in the Genetics Laboratory of the Biological Research Center at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo.
