Rafael Germán Campos Montiel, originally from Mexico City. Graduated with a degree in Industrial Biochemical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, with a Master's degree and PhD in Biotechnology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Professor-Researcher for more than 20 years at the Instituto de Ciencias Agropecuarias of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo Leader of the consolidated academic body of Aprovechamiento Agroalimentario Integral and member of SNI level II. Her research is related to the use of bioactive compounds of plant, animal or microbial origin in food and non-food systems. In addition to participating in projects related to water treatment and reuse at the National Water Commission, the Engineering Institute of the UNAM, the Petroleum Institute and the Ecology Institute of the State of Hidalgo.
