Agricultural Engineer specializing in Animal Husbandry and Master of Science in Animal Production from the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, and PhD in Animal Husbandry from the Colegio de Posgraduados. Research Professor of the Academic Area of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, with more than 13 years of experience. Research line in nutritional evaluation and environmental impact of food and additives for ruminants. National Researcher level I of the S.N.I., with recognition to the desirable profile PRODEP of the SEP. With 7 undergraduate and graduate theses as director, co-director or advisor; 10 scientific articles and 1 divulgation article; 2 book chapters; and 19 full-length publications in congresses. Member of the Academic Body of Sustainable Livestock Systems. Currently, he is conducting experiments with the objective of evaluating the rumen degradation kinetics of forage resources from the state of Hidalgo and the quantification of rumen methane through the in vitro gas production technique.
