Agricultural engineer. He has a Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco; and a PhD in Biotechnology from the UAM Unidad Iztapalapa. He developed the research project on the use of agricultural residues for their incorporation into the sheep production system, for which he made a research stay at the University of Murcia, Spain. Since 2013 he is a Full-Time Research Professor at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo. He is a member of the Academic Body in Consolidation of Agrobiotechnology of the Academic Area of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences of the UAEH, he collaborates with the research line of utilization of agricultural residues and their incorporation into production systems. During his academic career he has published more than 10 articles in indexed journals and participated in national and international conferences. She published the book entitled: The cultivation of Nochebuena in Xochimilco, DF, its irrigation and fertigation. In 2018 in collaboration with the University of Valladolid, Spain and the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Portugal published the book chapter: Promoting Circular Economy Through Sustainable Agriculture in Hidalgo: Recycling of Agro-Industrial Waste for Production of High Nutritional Native Mushrooms. He is currently a member of the Expert Group of the National Council of Organic Production of the National Service of Agri-Food Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA). He is a member of the Mexican Society of Mycology, the Mexican Society of Biotechnology and Bioengineering and the Maguey Nopal Network.
