Within her academic career, Dr. Nayeli has been a member of the academic staff of the University of the Army and Armed Forces in the School of Health Classes, was a professor at the National School of Biological Sciences of the IPN and is currently a full time research professor at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, in the Academic Area of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry. At the moment, he is a member of the National System of Researchers level I and has the federal distinction PRODEP desirable profile. She is a member of the basic nucleus of the Doctorate in Food Science and Human Health, as well as of the Master's Degree in Zootechnical Sciences and Animal Health. As a result of her research, she has made presentations at national and international conferences, publications in international JCR journals with high impact factor and book chapters. His lines of research are based on the study of the innate immune response to pathogens of medical interest, focused on "one health", as well as the study of bioactive molecules such as antimicrobials, antitumor and immunomodulators. He has directed bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses.
