Agroindustrial Engineer by UAEH. D. in Biotechnology at the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Avanzados del IPN (CINVESTAV). He has done research stays at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas Margarita Salas (CIB Margarita Salas), in the department of Microbial and Plant Biotechnology, in Madrid, Spain. Since 2015, he is a tenured research professor at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences of the UAEH, teaching in the Food Engineering career. Since 2018, he is a member of the basic core of the PhD in Health Sciences and Human Nutrition and since 2021 he is a member of the basic core of the Master's Degree in Food Science. She is a member of the consolidated Academic Body of Agrifood Biotechnology (CABA), of the National System of Researchers level 1 and professor with desirable profile recognition (PRODEP). She has a patent development registered before the IMPI (Registration 310716), on the production process of bacterial biopolymers. As well as publications in indexed journals with a high impact factor, and more than 250 citations (Web of Science ResearcherID AAL-8895-2020). She has supervised B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses. She is an active collaborator within the Biomaterials with Nanotechnological Applications Research Group formed between CINVESTAV, UAEH, ITESM-Edo de México. She is responsible for projects as Basic Science and Infrastructure CONACyT approved to cultivate research lines together with CABA focused on Fermentation Processes for identification, purification of compounds of bacterial metabolic origin with food and biotechnological applications.
