Semblanza

Young researcher focused on the study of analytical tools for the mathematical abstraction of biological processes. He is a veterinarian and zootechnician from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry of the UNAM, Specialist in Sheep Production from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. Master in Agricultural Sciences by the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, Doctor in Health Sciences and Animal Production by the UNAM. He carried out his post-doctoral studies at the Laboratory of Livestock and Climate Change under the auspices of the United Nations Development Program. In 2019 he served as Ruminant Research Leader for the feed company Malta Cleyton. He has lectured internationally in Australia, Austria, Argentina, Chile, England, Scotland and the United States. He is currently collaborating in research projects with universities in France, England, Scotland, Australia, Denmark and Spain. He is a member of the British Society of Animal Science. He has more than 30 scientific articles in indexed journals, 5 book chapters and more than 300 citations. Member of the National System of Researchers level 1. Experienced in mathematical modeling of sheep lactation curves using empirical and mechanistic models. Robust statistical training applied in the calculation of uncertainty in greenhouse gas emission inventories using Monte Carlo and Bootstrap simulation. In addition, Dr. Angeles has extensive experience in sheep flock consulting and interaction with the feed industry. Finally, he is involved in the application of machine learning tools in animal production using artificial intelligence.
