D. in Health Sciences from the FMAV-UNAM. My research is based on Molecular Eco-Epidemiology, Distribution, Risk Factors, Distribution Models and Diagnosis of Tick-borne Diseases.

Full-time Researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo. Member of the Consolidated Academic Body of "Veterinary Sciences". Part of the National System of Researchers Level 1. Collaborator BioGeneticks Lab, laboratory specialized in the diagnosis of tick-borne diseases.

I have more than 20 scientific articles as first author and/or correspondence, which include the first clinical, serological and molecular evidence of tick-borne pathogens, reservoirs and accidental hosts in Mexico. Distinguished by different universities, which emphasizes the "Trainner Traveler Award" from Harvard University Medical School; where the impact of VTE acquisition risk areas for human infection was recognized. In addition, participation as exhibitor/attendance at various national and international forums.

Invited professor by FMVZ-UNAM, University of Texas PanAmerican (USA). International Certification for Laboratory Biosafety Level 3 by the National Biocontainment Center and Laboratory Biosafety Training Program, UTMB, Texas, USA; Level II at Texas A&M and UTPA of Texas, USA. International stays for diagnostic techniques such as ELISA, IFA, Western Blot, PCR rtPCR, PCR rt, Cell culture (Vero, DH-60, etc. fr Ehrlichia spp. Anaplasma spp. Borrelia spp. and Rickettsia spp.), DNA extraction, protein purification, molecular biology and species mapping/modeling/prediction based on their habitat. All trainings were at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the University of Texas A & M, University of Texas PanAmerican de USA and University of Texas Medical Branch. Leader of seven projects with Federal, Institutional and International funding.
