Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources from the UAEMex. She is currently a Research Professor at AAMVZ - ICAp- UAEH. She belongs to the research group Microbial Genomic Pathogenesis and Ecopathology, with RIU registration. He belongs to the National System of Researchers (SNI) level I. She has conducted her research mainly in avian and fish species, focusing mainly on pathogenicity studies of opportunistic infectious agents, zoonotic agents, experimental infections and pathology and histopathology studies. He is currently developing research based on the local avifauna of Tulancingo de Bravo. Some of the topics currently developed are: Identification of the fungal microbiota of the Brown-headed Thrush(Molothrus ater), Food Habits of the Cattle Egret(Bubulcus ibis) and Identification of endoparasites in the Cattle Egret(Bubulcus ibis).
