Who we are
About

In August 1986, the Ministry of Agriculture and Hydraulic Resources donated to the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo the field of Livestock Development with an extension of 78 hectares, located in the Ex-Hacienda de Aquetzalpa on the outskirts of the city of Tulancingo, Hidalgo, where it was thought to be a strategic place because it had a high growth rate in demographic, agricultural and economic aspects. Subsequently, the Honorable University Council (of the UAEH) approved the creation of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences and the Bachelor's Degree in Agroindustrial Engineering on December 10, 1986. Academic activities began on January 18, 1987, with the perspective of training graduates committed to their population, who are able to generate the transformation of agricultural production in the region.
