Self-Learning Center

self-learning

The fundamental idea of the Self-Study concept is precisely autonomy in learning; to provide interested individuals with the place, materials and environment necessary to promote self-learning.
This philosophy of learning recognizes that each person has a very particular style of learning, as well as specific needs in terms of what he or she wishes to study; that is why the Self-Learning Language Center offers a variety of materials and areas of study.

The ESH Self-Learning Language Center has different services within its academic areas:

  • Reading Room
  • Computation
  • Individual Video
  • Karaoke
  • Mega screen

The CAI is staffed with support personnel in a space that provides attention to students and teaching staff from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Tutoring and Counseling

tutorials

At the Escuela Superior Huejutla we see tutoring as a viable strategy to improve the quality of higher education, therefore the Integral Tutoring Program is carried out, whose objective is the accompaniment by a teacher to students in the course of their academic life within the university, detecting in a timely manner the needs of students and channeling them to the different services such as the psycho-pedagogical area, medical or counseling by a specialist.

The tutoring action is considered a systematic help directed to the students, it is used as an effective means to achieve that the educational process becomes a human relationship where the interaction of personalities takes place in a spontaneous and at the same time deliberately educational environment to a greater degree than what normally happens in a classroom. This requires the commitment of the teacher to develop his role as a tutor in an effective and efficient way, but above all with a great human quality, capable of leading his students towards an assertive attitude.

Social Service and Internships

service

The Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, a public institution that emanates from and owes itself to society, provides a space in which students can give back to it, a part of the much they have received; that space that historically has represented an opportunity to strengthen their professional training, to help the disadvantaged, to link with public and private national and international institutions, but above all an institutional commitment, is the social service and professional practices.

The actions developed through their professional practices and social service are important work, with transcendence, as long as it is not considered as a work to cover a requirement, but a participative service, a committed work for the development of their professional competencies that involves students in social service or as interns, academics, researchers and the community or group that receives the benefits in the receiving units with whom the social commitment is carried out.
