The Bachelor of Laws is an element at the service of society, which regulates social harmony, with the firm objective of preserving human dignity. Develops optimal management in the application of laws, strengthens the ethical and social responsibility of the future professional in their regional, national and international environment.

The legal professional promotes the fundamental values of the human being, given that he/she faces the growing process of globalization and the rapid scientific and technological advances that have an impact on legal science.

 

Vision
The Escuela Superior de Huejutla of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo will graduate Law Graduates with a solid professional formation, which will allow them to creatively solve legal problems in a reflexive, critical and integral manner and with a high ethical-humanistic sense, in correspondence with the social reality where they develop and will contribute to the transformation of their federal entity and the country in the legal field, with a high level of competitiveness in the exercise of the profession in an increasingly saturated and demanding market.


Mission
The mission of the Bachelor's Degree in Law is to train highly qualified professionals in their discipline, creative, enterprising and with a broad knowledge of the social reality, legal science and technique as well as a socio-affective and humanistic development and committed to the society to which they owe, for which they will have the necessary methodological tools that will allow them to compete successfully in the labor market of the future as agents of social change with identity, and also contribute to the promotion of the national legal culture.

Curricular Objectives
The academic program of the Bachelor's Degree in Law allows:

  • To develop the appropriate theoretical and methodological knowledge that will allow them to discover and understand the essence of the legal system;
  • Have broad knowledge of the different branches of law: public, private, social, substantive and adjective;
  • Develop activities to draft documents and carry out legal procedures in real or virtual scenarios from the fifth semester of the career due to the subject of forensic practice;
  • To form individuals who are legally educated and sensitive to their social environment;
  • To train honest professionals capable of providing solutions to legal problems;
  • To develop solid legal knowledge that will enable them to enter a postgraduate program upon completion of their bachelor's degree;
  • Approach knowledge, not as something already given and finished, but to provide the tools and develop the capacity to acquire and apply them.
  • Understand the dimensions and relationships of theory and practice in their profession, and;
  • Develop the necessary knowledge and ability to perform efficiently in any of the branches of professional practice, with skills for the practice of their profession developed from their forensic practices.

Modality

The law degree is taught in a school-based system, with a fixed class schedule determined each semester.


Admission Profile

The applicant to enter the Bachelor's Degree in Law must have the following characteristics:

  • Ability to write well, good spelling, mastery of syntax and ease of writing.
  • Willingness for long reading sessions
  • Interest in abstract reasoning
  • Interest in learning other languages
  • Service readiness
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and interact with others
  • Concentration during classes
  • Willingness to mediate in conflict situations
  • Gift of persuasion, and
  • A plexus of moral values such as honesty, trustworthiness and tolerance.

 

Graduate Profile

The graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Law will be a professional who will be able to work in the public, private or social sectors, as a lawyer, legal consultant, judge or public servant, notary, public prosecutor, among others.
Field of action of the graduate

The graduate in Law will be able to work in the following areas

  • As an advisor to parties in conflict, defending in a process, interpreting legal norms, drafting documents and handling procedures and appropriate remedies.
  • As a legal consultant to provide advice to individuals, companies or instances that request it.
  • As a judicial public servant assisting the judge in the execution of the jurisdictional function.
  • As a judge, carrying out the administration of justice.
  • As an agent of the Public Prosecutor's Office
  • As a notary
  • As a public broker
  • As an officer of the Registry of Family Status
  • As a teacher
