About

The Escuela Superior de Huejutla (ESH), began its activities on January 20, 2003, as a higher education alternative in the region.

At that historic moment in the life of the region, the following undergraduate educational programs began operations: Law, Administration and Computer Systems, serving students mainly from the highlands and the Huasteca region of Hidalgo, Potosí and Veracruz.

Jesus Sarid Ruiz Lara

Winner of the 2nd Edition of FINIpix

In April 2023, during the XII Edition of the International Image Festival, Jesús Sarid Ruiz Lara, a student of the General High School of the Huejutla High School, second semester, group four, won second place in the second edition of the FINIpix mobile photography contest on the theme "Indigenous Peoples", in which 750 high school students from all over the university participated.



Luz Edepna Olvera Martínez

Sofia Yareli González Hernández

Member of the state team of the XXXIII. National Physics Olympiad

In 2022, Sofia Yareli González Hernández, a student of the General High School of Huejutla, second semester, group one, obtained a space to be part of the Physics State Selection composed of four students of excellence, who represented the state of Hidalgo in the XXXIII National Physics Olympics, held in the city of Puebla, from November 13 to 17, 2022.



Ana Laura Hernández Ramos

Winner of 1st place in the DAI Competition 2022

Ana Laura was a student of the ESH Baccalaureate 2019-2022, during her stay she showed her taste and great ability with the English language. Ana Laura enrolled in the DAI Competition 2022, which consisted of recording a monologue on the theme "Learning English through the Internet and social networks". In a one minute video she showed with great enthusiasm and charisma, how social networks have been an essential part of her learning in this language, such was her performance that she managed to win first place, which was awarded in the City of Pachuca on May 4, 2022.



Erick Manuel Melo Sánchez

Member of the state team of the XXXII National Biology Olympiad 2022 and best state score in the EXANI I 2020.

Since his entry into the baccalaureate educational program, he demonstrated his great ability by obtaining the highest score statewide in the EXANI I test in 2020. In 2022, Erick Manuel Melo Sanchez, a student of the General High School of Huejutla, fifth semester, group three, obtained the highest score in the entire state in the State Biology Olympiad test, which allowed him to be part of the team of four students who participated in the XXXII National Biology Olympiad, held in Durango, Durango, from November 13 to 17, 2022.



Quethzia Daniela Azuara Bautista

Winner of Honorable Mention in the short story contest "Y colorín colorado este cuento, está comenzando" 2022.

Quethzia Daniela Azuara Bautista, student of the general baccalaureate educational program of the Escuela Superior de Huejutla, third semester, group four, won an honorable mention in the contest "Y colorín colorado este cuento, está comenzando", organized by the Dirección de Educación Medio Superior (DEMS), and the Dirección de Fomento a la Lectura (DFL). This contest lasted 3 months and the student managed to reach the final stage, showing her literary talent and communication skills with her story entitled "El códice del agua" (The water codex), now property of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH).



Ivanna De María Hernández Hernández

Participation in the National Stage of the XIV Mexican History Olympiad 2021

In 2021, Ivanna De María Hernández, a student of the General High School of the Huejutla High School in the third semester of group four, placed in the regional and state stage to obtain a space in the national stage of the Mexican History Olympics held in virtual mode on November 13 and 14, 2021; in which young people from different systems of basic and higher secondary education throughout the Mexican Republic participated.

What are the costs of tokens and tuition?   

The cost to obtain a token is $600 for all the educational programs offered at the High School and Undergraduate levels. Tuition is $1,500.00 per semester.

Do you have laboratories for practical training?   

The Escuela Superior de Huejutla has the best equipment in its laboratories, which contribute to the education of students in all undergraduate and high school programs. The laboratories that the Escuela Superior de Huejutla has are:
  • Computer Science Specialized Laboratory
  • Computer Center Laboratory
  • Physics Laboratory
  • Chemistry Laboratory
  • Business Laboratory
  • Simulation Laboratory for Medicine and Nursing
  • Self-Learning Language Center

How long will it take me to finish my Bachelor's Degree?   

In the case of the General Baccalaureate the duration is 3 years divided into 6 semesters

Bachelor's Degree in Administration 9 semesters including social service

Bachelor's Degree in Law 9 semesters including social service

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science 8 semesters of schooling and one semester of social service

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 7 semesters of schooling, one semester of internship and two semesters of social service for a total of 10 semesters

Bachelor's Degree in Surgery consists of 9 semesters plus one year of undergraduate internship and one year of social service in a medical institution.

In the case of the Bachelor's Degree of Medical Surgeon, did I conclude my career at the Escuela Superior Huejutla?   

The students study up to the fourth semester at the Escuela Superior de Huejutla, and after the fourth semester, they move to the Academic Area of Medicine in Tulancingo, which has first class facilities, where they complete their degree.

It is worth mentioning that the facilities of the academic area of Medicine are part of what will be the University City of Tulancingo, and have high technology that allows for greater interaction. It includes eight simulation laboratories and eight Debriefing laboratories, composed of high, medium and low fidelity robots, which allow students to generate competencies, first with the simulators, and then work with the patient.

What careers do you offer?   

The Escuela Superior de Huejutla offers a General Baccalaureate for the upper secondary level.

While for the higher level it offers Bachelor's Degrees in Administration, Law, Computer Science, Nursing and Medical Surgeon.
