Social service is an activity that allows the student in training, to give back to society, contributing with proposals for solutions and application of comprehensive knowledge to the most disadvantaged sectors at local, regional, national and international levels.

Likewise, the student becomes aware of the importance of the application of knowledge, values, skills, abilities, aptitudes and attitudes in reality, allowing the consolidation of an integral formation as a university representative and the application of employability elements that allow the generation of adequate scenarios for a possible incorporation in the labor market.

The characteristic of social service as a temporary and mandatory activity is also understood as a human and professional element of strategic importance to strengthen ties with citizens and sectors, helping to transform community development in a more dynamic and proactive way.
